All 42 rooms at Thrif-T-Lodge Motel have been refreshed with hard-surface flooring, updated bathrooms and modern keycard locks, while keeping what makes a motel a motel: you park at your own door and walk straight in. Every room is non-smoking. Rates change with the season and with how busy Redlands is that week, so we quote them by phone — booking direct with the front desk is always the cheapest way to stay here.

Queen Room — One Bed
One queen bed in our most open floor plan — the room to book if you're travelling solo or as a couple and want space to spread out. We have 33 of them, so there is usually one free.
The queen room runs the full width of the building, with the bed against a dark upholstered headboard wall and a wall-mounted flat-screen television opposite. A long granite-topped counter gives you somewhere to set down a laptop, a suitcase or a takeaway box, and a side table sits beside the bed.
The bathroom is finished in large-format tile with a shower, and the whole room is on hard-surface flooring rather than carpet — easier to keep genuinely clean between guests.

Room type 02
Queen Room — Two Beds
Two queen beds plus a microwave and mini refrigerator — our most-booked room for families, road trips and work crews. There are 9 of these, so it is worth calling ahead.
Two queen beds sit side by side with a shared nightstand between them, leaving a clear walkway to the window and the bathroom. Along the opposite wall a granite-topped dresser carries the flat-screen television, a microwave and a mini refrigerator, which turns a one-night stop into somewhere you can actually keep leftovers, milk and cold drinks.
It's the practical choice for four adults, for parents travelling with children, or for anyone staying a few nights and hoping not to eat every meal out.

How do I book a room?
Call the front desk on (909) 793-2536 — the phone is answered on the property, so you get a straight answer about what is free tonight. You can also use the Reservations button at the top of any page, or email the front desk and we'll call or email you back.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 1:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. If you'd like to check in early, call the front desk on (909) 793-2536 to confirm — and let us know if you're arriving late, so we can hold the room.
What do I need to bring to check in?
A valid government-issued photo ID for the person whose name the room is in, and a payment method. Guests must be of legal age to rent a room in California.
How many people can stay in a room?
A queen room with one bed sleeps two comfortably. A queen room with two queen beds sleeps up to four. Please tell us your party size when you book so we put you in a room that fits.
Is parking really free?
Yes. On-site parking in the courtyard is included with every room, with accessible spaces marked near the front office. There is room for standard vehicles and light trucks; call ahead if you're travelling with a trailer or an oversized vehicle.
Are the rooms non-smoking?
Yes. All 42 rooms at Thrif-T-Lodge Motel are non-smoking, without exception. Smoking in a room means a cleaning charge, so please use the outdoor areas.
Are pets allowed?
No. We do not allow pets at Thrif-T-Lodge Motel. Trained service animals are a different matter — they are always welcome at no extra charge and are not treated as pets. Please tell the front desk when you book so we can help. See our accessibility and ADA statement.
